About us

A new brand with a senior team

The HiReKing Taiwan team is new, and we will not hide it. The question worth asking is not how old the company is, but whether the consultant across the table understands your industry and can actually find the people.

Where we came from

From Singapore, built for Taiwan

HiReKing's roots are in Singapore — a market where executive search is run as a professional service. Process is written down, candidate data is governed, conflicts of interest are regulated, and what a client pays for is operating quality that can be audited.

We came to Taiwan because of semiconductor. Taiwan holds the most critical stretch of the global supply chain, and what that stretch is short of is not equipment — it is people. A market like that deserves a dedicated team, not a regional office covering it on the side.

So we did not send Singapore consultants to run Taiwan. We built a Taiwanese team in Taiwan.

What each side contributes

  • Singapore HQ — operating standards, candidate vetting protocol, data protection and conflict-of-interest policy.
  • Taiwan team — local industry network, pay benchmarking, role design and offer negotiation.
  • Together — regional coverage when clients also operate in Singapore, Malaysia or Vietnam.
The team

Our consultants came from Taiwan's leading firms

Every consultant on the HiReKing Taiwan team came from a major Taiwanese recruitment or search firm. They are not career-changers finding their feet — they arrive with an existing industry network, an instinct for what roles actually pay, and judgement built over hundreds of interviews.

We deliberately looked for one kind of person: someone who has sat on the hiring side of the table, who knows what a manager means by "proactive", and who knows that an unrealistic brief will not close in a year no matter how hard anyone works.

Full consultant profiles and areas of specialisation will be listed on this page.

Our principles

Four things we will not trade away

How we work

How an assignment runs

01

Briefing and role definition

We do more than take the JD: why the role exists, why the last person left, what the hiring manager actually expects, the real salary band, and the shift or overtime pattern. If the brief is unrealistic we will say so.

02

Talent mapping and search strategy

We define target companies and titles — in semiconductor that also means clarifying which companies are off-limits under non-compete or conflict rules. And we report back what the market actually supplies and what it costs.

03

In-depth interviews and shortlist

Each candidate is interviewed by a consultant to verify technical depth, motivation and practical availability — including non-compete clauses and unvested stock — and presented with a written assessment.

04

Interviews and offer negotiation

We coordinate interviews, collect feedback both ways, and manage pay structure, start date and counter-offer risk. Counter-offers are common in this market; that stage cannot be left to luck.

05

Onboarding follow-up and guarantee

We check in after the start date, and replace the hire at no additional fee if it does not work out within the guarantee period. Anything we noticed about the organisation along the way, we tell you.
